Yo, Toronto's underground music scene – this is your shot! League Of Rock | The Show, the raw, gritty reality TV series dropping soon, wants YOU to step out of the basement, garage, or bedroom studio and rep your city on screen. We're smashing bands together from real non-pro musicians like you – no industry connects, no fancy gear, just pure vibe and skill. Rock'n Roll mixed with blues, funk, soul, and R&B – your sound defines the fusion.
Who's Our Vibe?
- Age 18-40: Young hustlers ready to grind.
- Diverse Voices Wanted: Bring your unique cultural background and sound – Toronto's mosaic makes the best music.
- Rock'n Roll, Blues, Funk, Soul, R&B Kings/Queens: Bring that gritty blues lick, classic rock’n roll riff, funky bass groove, soulful vocals, or smooth R&B runs. Mix it with hip-hop edges, trap beats, or whatever today's basement sounds you bring to it.
- Non-Pro Basement Dwellers: Gigging locals, SoundCloud sleepers, open mic regulars – if you're not touring arenas but your riffs slap, you're in.
What Goes Down?
Team up with fresh faces from across the scene to form bands that fuse your styles into something new. Not just matched by genre – create innovative arrangements and hybrid sounds by collaborating with musicians who bring different flavours, sparking the next big vibe. Live performances, real drama, no scripts – just music that hits different. Solo auditions only – no full bands or crews. Winners get exposure, cash prizes, and a shot at the show.
Audition Deets:
- When: Send us your vid that shows your jam (30-60 sec), instrument if you got it, your energy and we’ll pass you the dates.
- Where: Selected audition vids will be invited to live auditions at a location to TBA. Be sure to supply your email address and cell, and we'll notify you if you're in.
- What to Bring: If you're selected bring your instruments, accept drummers. We'll have a kit and all backline there. All musicians just plug in and play. Singers, just show up with your bad selves.
